The SMD small overcurrent protection PTC thermistor developed by Huaju Electronics is mainly used for overcurrent and overheating protection of short-circuit test countermeasures and current-limiting resistors. It is directly connected in series in the load circuit and can automatically limit the line when abnormal conditions occur. Overcurrent or blocked current will return to its original state after the fault is eliminated, commonly known as "10,000-time fuse".
Application principle:
Connect the overcurrent protection PTC thermistor in series in the power circuit. When the circuit is in a normal state, the current flowing through the PTC is less than the rated current. The PTC is in normal state and has a very small resistance, which will not affect the normal operation of the protected circuit. . When the circuit current greatly exceeds the rated current, the PTC suddenly heats up and the resistance suddenly increases to a high resistance state, thus limiting or blocking the current and protecting the circuit from damage. After the current returns to normal, the PTC also automatically returns to the low resistance state, and the circuit returns to normal operation.

1. In overload current conditions, such as short circuit and other abnormal conditions, it can work quickly to protect the circuit. By eliminating the overload current condition, the product will automatically return to its original state and can be reused.
2. Suitable for use as countermeasures for short circuit tests in safety standards.
3. Ceramic PTC, the resistance is stable after operation.
4. The power supply capacity is large, so small size (0603 size) can be achieved.
5. These products can be used as current limiting resistors with their overload current protection function.
